Hello there! Get to know me

Based in Bozeman, Montana, Hannah has enjoyed testing the limits of what materials can do as an artist since 2003. She is excited by how particular items can be created in ways never thought of before.
I was born and raised around the Boise area in good ole potato-loving Idaho. Because of this, I grew up doing a lot of different outside activities. Camping, hiking, biking, fishing, boating, skiing, and gardening were just some of the activities I enjoyed. I have a river, a mountain range, and trees tattooed on my arm. So Iād say the outdoors have influenced my life. My artwork has brought me back to my Idaho roots. It has also freed me from my past to create my future.Ā Ā
Every project aims to craft well-designed works of art that put the fun in functional in a beautiful way. Above all, my passion for design and creation comes from the joy of bringing incredible ideas to life. Look through my eclectic handcrafted art portfolio to better understand how I give dead things a new life.Ā
A Little More About Me

Who's the Dog??
That's my Lily Bug! She came into my life in November of 2021. She's a mixed breed of cuddle and goofy bug. No for real I don't know what she is but she's 100% my best friend. She was a rescue so to speak. She's also so to speak my boss. And a lazy one at that most times! We do have a lot of fun when get to go to work and bone hunt.
Why you in Bozeman??
I came to Bozeman, Montana in September 2013 to become a Bobcat. S'ko Cats! I thought I wanted to be an engineer. Ha! Mom suggested business and 5 years later I graduated with a Business Management degree.
I've tried going back to Boise. But what they say about Montana is true. It has a special place in your heart. So I had to come back. I also like that there's more cows than people in the state. Cows are cool!
Who's your tattoo artist??
I've got a few artists that I love going to. Some here in Bozeman, Boise, and one that likes to travel.
I've got over 20 tattoos and of course want more. The concept for my arms is a full sleeve: split up in halves. Kind of like a yin and yang situation. There's been a few new artists to have tatt me. I enjoy seeing them grow and help them on their way. My collar was done 3 years after my elbows by the same artist. Whom which I was the first and second elbow he'd ever done. I wear them proudly.
Why bones??
I was inspired by another artist that was featured at Valhalla Meadery. But the bones called to me before then. Maybe it was that I grew up with a mother that decorated our home with furs and antlers? Or it could be my viking ancestry having some effect on why I chose this medium.
Whatever the reason I am glad I can give these bones a second home. My hope for my art is that I can highlight their beauty. After much staring I remembered that bones are made of carbon. And so are diamonds. They deserve to shine.
Who took the photos??
One of my best friends named Emma Doolittle took the portraits of me. She's amazing and has her own site. You should check it out! The link is below my bio just above.
I've practiced photography since middle school. Product photography also happens to be one of my favorite forms of the craft. Long story short. I took the photos of my art pieces.
Are you outdoorsy??
Heck yeah! The outdoors are the best. We camped in Idaho growing up and I enjoy it more as an adult. I also enjoy doing the outdoor sports of most kinds. Bone collecting counts as a sport right?

Go Red Sox!
Baseball is America's Passtime
I LOVE BASEBALL! We grew up playing lots of baseball in our household in Idaho. Tee-ball of course. Then my brother played while we watched from lawn chairs in the back of the truck. Best seats in the place. I played a season of softball but golf was my sport. Take me out to a ball game anytime though!

She's a baby fish
Apple does fall far
I love water so much. Like any body of water is great! But the bluer the better! My mother was a water baby and I got that trait as well. And so did my dog. Lily loves to lay down in the river and drink till she throws up. š š She's not the best swimmer but we're working on it.

Oh i tatted my feet
I love Golfing Barefoot!
Yes and yes. I did tatt my feet. The left says
"Just keep" and the right "swimming". It's one of my favorite tattoos actually. The "ing" was the best part which makes sense about endings. And golfing barefoot is the absolute best! You really get a feel for the game. I actually do better without shoes than with. Imagine that!
